Frequently Asked Questions
Functional and Integrative Medicine

Serving patients in the Kansas City Metro and the State of Kansas needing a functional approach

What primary services do you offer?

I listen to each patient's story. Deducing particular needs for functional lab testing from that story gives me the ability to order and interpret unique tests to address endocrine, gastrointestinal, rheumatologic, and other problems.
Functional integrative medicine looks deeply into the chemical, nutritional, and autoimmune status of the patient. I test autoantibodies and assess inflammation, test the microbiome of the gut to assess imbalances and carefully use the safest hormone replacement that can optimize the quality of life and promote cancer prevention. My 25-year experience in the functional approach has successfully helped many patients break through their cycle of chronic disease.

What do you specialize in?

1.  Integrative and functional medicine.
2  Acute and preventative care for infectious disease including viral (Covid), bacterial, and fungal illness.
4  Treatment of chronic cardiometabolic illness

What are the rates of your services?

1  $75 cash payment monthly for at least 6 months provides membership after an initial
2. $75 per 15 minutes for non-member 3.  Evaluations for initial visit will be $200 -300 for the initial visit based on time spent and complexity of lab tests ordered

Are you licensed and insured?

I am a board-certified Family Physician licensed with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
I am insured through Kammco medical malpractice.

What are your terms and conditions?

Consider letting me use the online tools of history and testing though specialty labs for 3-6 months to help patients break though the chronic issues.
Given the complexity of using insurance I've elected to establish a fair low monthly cash membership.
Please complete the enrollment form.
I value the expertise of dieticians and physical therapists and ask that you be open to referral when indicated.

About us -

Integrative family telemedicine from a board-certified MD welcomes patients looking for more than a band aid approach.

He seeks to look beyond the routine wastebasket diagnosis such as irritable bowel and chronic fatigue. He acknowledges that some people need chronic medicine but that the numbers are too high!  Not everyone needs medicine for stomach pain or depression; and many can minimize or get off these pills with a more thorough investigation and nutritional and supplement support
